Sprout Network Luncheon at St. Cecilia & Sneak Preview of NewSprout Original Series FLOOGALS

This week I was invited to attend an exclusive luncheon with Sprout. Sprout is a 24 hour television network geared toward preschool aged children. When my daughter was that age, we watch a lot of Sprout. That was pretty much the only channel she did watch. She was a big fan of Caillou and The Bernstein Bears. While she has out grown those programs, I still work with preschool aged children, so I’m still very much familiar with the network. I was very excited that a new show was coming to sprout.

Floogals premieres only on Sprout on January 23. In this adventurous show features three aliens, Captain Fleeker, First Officer Flo, and Junior Boomer, who explore Planet Earth and the human way of life. FLOOGALS encourages preschoolers to “floogal” their own world—to explore, observe, and view things from a different perspective. We were able to watch a preview of the show and visually, FLOOGALS is beautifully done. The show features vibrant CGI animation alongside live action, and captures Earth from the perspective of these pocket-sized creatures. Kids and parents alike are sure to want to tune in and join on the colorful adventures.

The luncheon was held at the very beautiful St. Cecilia. Located in Buckhead’s Pinnacle building, this restaurant from Atlanta chef owner Ford Fry is dishing out some seriously delicious coastal European food. Check out what was prepared for us!
