A few weeks ago I took my first visit to Tin Drum Asia Café. With so many locations in the Atlanta area I was surprised I had never been before. checked the menu out prior to coming and was very excited about eating dinner.
“Tin Drum Asia Café provides the fast service and convenience of Asian street-side cafés, prepares each meal to order using fresh, simple ingredients. The menu is a dynamic mix of traditional Asian fare with bold flavors and features cuisine inspired by the cultures of China, India, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.”
That night, Tin Drum Asia Café invited local Atlanta food bloggers to join them in celebrating the Chinese New Year by enjoying new limited time menu items. Chinese New Year is a Chinese festival celebrated at the turn of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. Celebrations traditionally run from the evening preceding the first day, to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first calendar month. Traditions include cleaning of the house to invite good luck, decorating doors with paper cut outs and lighting firecrackers.
