The Arts Commission is thrilled to announce the return of the Momentum Festival and the Momentum Intersection Exhibition in September 2024. Both events are free to attend and offer a unique opportunity to experience the creativity and talent of Toledo’s local artists.
Momentum Festival
The Momentum Festival will take place on September 20-22, 2024, on N. Superior St., between Madison Ave. and Adams St. This year’s festival will feature a diverse range of artistic expressions, including:
- Local Artist Exhibition: Discover the work of over 100 talented local artists across various mediums.
- INTER/ACTIVE Projects: Experience immersive and interactive artworks created by local artists.
- Live Performances: Enjoy a variety of musical acts, dance performances, and other live entertainment.
- Artist Market: Purchase unique art pieces directly from local artists.
- Food Vendors: Savor delicious food and drinks from local vendors.
Momentum | Intersection Exhibition
The Momentum | Intersection Exhibition will open on September 18th at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion. This annual exhibition showcases innovative glass art created by talented artists from around the world. The 2024 exhibition features work from Matthew Hutchinson, Davin Ebanks, and Gabriel Pena.
