This Saturday, November 2nd, Culture Clash Records is throwing a “big party to demonstrate what’s worth saving.” Known for its commitment to music and the local community, Culture Clash has been a cornerstone of Toledo since 2004. The event, Save Culture Clash!, is part of a community-driven effort to keep this cherished record store and music hub open, following a challenging year of zoning issues, legal expenses, and slower sales.
Owners Tim and Lizzie Friedman are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from the community. Since launching a GoFundMe campaign in early October, donations and messages of encouragement have flooded in, giving the couple hope. Lizzie Friedman shares, “The support has been nothing short of incredible. Culture Clash matters to people, and it’s the reason we’re able to put together such an awesome lineup for our Save Culture Clash! event.”
