Serenbe May Day Festival 2014

Yesterday me and the Mini Me ventured 45 minutes south of Atlanta to the beautiful community of Serenbe. There, this farm to table community closed its streets for the 9th annual May Day Festival. People strolled the streets enjoying all the culinary and artisan festivities Serenbe had to offer. It was a perfect day for a festival and many were out taking advantage of it. 0ver thirty vendors took part in this grand celebration of spring. It was pretty awesome!

The Mini Me had a great time in the children’s areas. She had a lot to enjoy. There was jewelry making, face painting, pony rides, a bouncy slide, and a dunk tank to name a few.
She also was able to hop in to a fire truck and look around. We were hoping to take our first ride on an hot air balloon, but the activity was cancelled due to windy conditions. Bummer.

All in all it was a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Serenbe is beautiful! Go check it out for yourself. There are many events and restaurants worth the short roadtrip south. If you’re moved to purchase a home there, go see Karen Reed in the sales office. She was very nice! Thanks Serebe for a great first experience! I’ll be back!
