I had a fantastic time this weekend! Saturday I attended One Musicfest here in Atlanta. What is One Musicfest you ask? Let me break it down for you real quick.
Live Music.
Three Stages.
Artist Village.
Food Trucks.
Block Party.
Performances by Alice Smith, Daley, Method Man and Redman, Dj Rasta Root, Cody Chesnutt, Bilal, Isaiah Rashad, Amel Larrieux, Jhene Aiko, Kendrick Lamar, and Nas.
Pretty awesome right? Did you see the musical line up? Nice. I enjoyed every artist performance. My favorite hands down was Kendrick Lamar. He gave Atlanta a show to remember.
Between the musical performances you had the opportunity to participate in many activities that were set up around the venue. In the Scratch Dj Academy And Heineken Booth, you could have a record painted as art or take a scratch lessons in the Dj booth. Gentleman Jack had a photo booth. I love photo booths! In the V-103 booth you was able play your friend in a game of connect four. The winner got a prize. I got the prize. Hehe.
I had a great time Saturday. It was hot but it wasn’t raining. Yay! Good job and high fives goes to the One Musicfest Crew. How are they gonna top this?? We shall see..
