Hidden Figures is the #1 movie in America! I am so happy for the entire cast. I saw it twice and was moved both times. It’s such a beautifully made movie. So inspiring! A film so need today!
Hidden Figures is the true story of three brilliant women, Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson, who changed history. Their work as mathematicians at NASA, led them to be the brains behind the historic launch of astronaut, John Glenn. The film stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe and Kevin Costner.
This film is so important for our young queens to see. Last Sunday, a group of awesome moms and myself took our daughters to see this amazing film. They all enjoyed it and were very much inspired by the movie. My daughter even requested a copy of the book, Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly, for her personal library. Her request was immediately granted! Take your daughter to see this very important part of history!
