#BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
I asked Certified Physician Assistant, Letitia Price, what her self-care tips are when it comes to breast health. She says to “treat your body like your car- or better, lol. Oil changes and maintenance checks give your car longevity. So mammograms and annual physicals are your “maintenance checks”. Your doctor is your mechanic. Signs of lumps, bumps, bleeding, pain, etc are your check engine light warnings. Seeing your doctor and having mammograms are preventative and can catch illnesses early so they can be treated easily. I always advise not to live your life with your check engine light on!” Great advice!
Is your “check engine light” on? Have you had your yearly mammogram yet?
