Last night The Toledo Zoo held its Sip Sip Hooray! Harvest Wine Fest, welcoming hundreds of wine enthusiasts around the city to sip their way through the zoo. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a Champagne & Apple Cider cocktail served in a souvenir glass to kick off the event. Guests were able to sample 15 wines, with a choice of several varieties including sweet, seasonal, regional, and local wines.
Entertainment included live performances by Tapestry Duo, Tony Marchese, and Ol’ Creek Road. We also had the opportunity to watch a pumpkin carving artist showcase his amazing skills.
The evening also included a sneak peek of Harvest Fest, a month-long fall festival that is included in zoo admission. As you stroll through the zoo grounds, enjoy giant pumpkin displays, pumpkin animal displays, character meet & greet opportunities, pumpkin carving classes, musical entertainment, and seasonal food & beverage offerings.
