Toledo Opera is thrilled to announce the return of Opera Outdoors on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM. This popular series of pop-up live performances will take place at outdoor community hubs throughout Toledo.
This fall, Opera Outdoors is presented in partnership with Metroparks Toledo and ProMedica. The performances will be held on the front lawn of the Manor House at Wildwood Preserve Metropark. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Manor House.
Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets!
Toledo Opera’s five talented 2024-25 Resident Artists will showcase their vocal abilities by performing iconic selections from the classical repertoire, along with musical theater and other American standards. The Resident Artists, chosen from a competitive pool of over 150 applicants, are:
- Sarah Rachel Bacani (soprano)
- Emily Cotten (mezzo-soprano)
- Brady DelVecchio (tenor)
- Robbie Raso (baritone)
- Alessandro “Alex” Rotundo (pianist)
