The Southern Gentlemen Gastropub

Last night, I had the opportunity to check out The Southern Gentlemen Gastropub. This southern inspired Gastropub is located in the new Buckhead District in Atlanta. The menu is very inviting. I was with a group so we decided to try a few things off the menu. We started with a few appetizers: TSG Deviled Eggs, Mini Shrimp “Andouille” Corn Dogs, and the Hoppin’ John-Boudin Balls. Everything was very good and flavorful. For my main course decided on the Shrimp and Grits. Gulf Shrimp, New Orleans BBQ Sauce, Speckled Whole Grain White Grits, and Mirliton Slaw. Yum! The shrimp was the star of the dish! Perfectly seasoned! We also received a delicious sampling of their desserts. My favorite was the Blueberry Upside-down Cake topped with Froot Loop Dust! It was perfect!
The Southern Gentleman also offers an array of specialty cocktails, world wines, and craft beers. It’s a great place for a small gathering of your friends. The atmosphere is great and the service is stellar.
