Tonight, I had the opportunity of attending a very special artist talk with author, Mo Willems. You may know him by his very successful children’s book, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. His work is currently on display at the High Museum of Art in the exhibit, Seriously Silly! The Art and Whimsy of Mo Willems.
During the conversation, Mr. Willems spoke about his creative process to writing and illustrating these great books that are enjoyed by many.
After the conversation, we were given an opportunity to view his exhibit. I really enjoyed how whimsical the entire exhibit was. Truly a work of art! Seriously Silly! The Art and Whimsy of Mo Willems will be on display until January 10, 2016. Go see it!
