Toledo native & undefeated heavyweight boxer Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (14-0, 14 KNOCKOUTS) was back in his hometown today to announce his upcoming 10-round ESPN-televised main event against Kazakh knockout artist Zhan Kossobutskiy (19-0, 18 KOs).
It will take place Saturday, July 1, at the Huntington Center.

Joining Anderson at today’s press conference was Hall of Fame Promoter/Top Rank Chairman Bob Arum, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, and Councilwoman Vanice Williams.
Anderson is ranked No. 7 in the world by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and No. 11 by both the World Boxing Council (WBC) & World Boxing Association (WBA).
