Eight

Today, my daughter, Sage, turned 8. It seems as though it was just yesterday that I pushed her out of my body. Now she’s eight! Where oh where did the time go?? She has grown to be a very bright and beautiful girl. She does very well in school and is quite the bookworm. She is full of energy and personality. I am very proud of her so I decided to write her a little note.

On your 8th birthday, 8 things to remember.

1. Be you.

2. Be grateful.

3. Never give up.

4. You are the adventure.

5. Love and respect yourself.

6.  Act with integrity at all times.

7. Dream big.

8. Find humor in the good and bad.
