Saturday I had the extreme pleasure of attending the bridal shower of a good friend of mine, Melanie. She’s really more like family. I’ve know for a bit, even before I gave birth to one of her cousins. She was actually in the room as I gave birth, handing me tropical mints as I pushed, which later was a very bad idea. Lol! You had to be there. Melanie is truly an amazing woman who deserves an equally amazing man. The first time I met her fiancé, I had came by the house and immediately thought, who is this man that Melanie is so intensly listening to. It was a real deep conversation. Eyes locked. I mean I was there for a good 15 minutes before she saw that I was there. Who is this man?!? Turns out this man was a keeper. He’s really cool. I’m real happy for her.
Saturday, her good friend Leah, hosted Melanie’s bridal shower at South City Kitchen. In this intimate gathering of close friends and family, we celebrated the beautiful bride to be over southern cuisine and cocktails. Everything was so delicious! Check out what I ate!
