It’s Midtown Restaurant Week!! Yay! This year Midtown Restaurant Week celebrates their tenth year of serving up culinary excellence. It’s the perfect time to explore Midtown’s favorite restaurants.
Last week, Atlanta food bloggers were invited for a sneak peek of this year’s offerings for an exclusive Midtown Restaurant Week Tweet Up.
Our first stop was Mi Cocina. This upscale Tex-Mex restaurant puts “emphasis on using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients complemented by warm, friendly and professional service”. You definitely got that feel as soon as you walked through the doors. I walked in and was immediately greeted with four smiling face. When I walked up the beautiful stairway and reached the top, I was again greet with smiling faces. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.
Mi Cocina had prepared a very nice spread of food for us and it look absolutely delicious. But the first order of business was having a cocktail! Our waiter brought out one of their signature mojitos, the La Cubana. This cocktail made with Bacardi Silver Rum, Muddled Lime, and Mint was fantastic! I’ll be back for another one of those!
Guacamole “Mexicano”
“Award winning,” Hass Avocados blended with Cilantro, Onions and Fresh Lime Juice
Tacos “De Brisket”
Three Corn Tortillas filled with Shredded Brisket, oven roasted overnight, and Jack Cheese, Arroz and Sliced Avocado Ensalada
Ceviche de Camarones
Gulf Shrimp, Jicama, Mango, Avocado and Red Onion with Cilantro Lime Marinade
Bacon Wraped Shrimp
We also enjoyed another one of their signature cocktails the Mambo Taxi®. Made with Sauza Silver Tequila, Lime Juice, Housemade Sangria with Pinot Noir, Brandy, and Fruit Juices, it was a showstopper! It was perfect in every way.
Shout out to Manoel and Reuban and the wonderful Mi Cocina staff for warm hospitality!

Our next stop was to Einstein’s. This year Einstein’s was named the Diner’s Choice Winner by OpenTable.com. You definitely want to make sure you visit them. When we arrived, we were greeted with a sneak peek of their Midtown Restaurant Week offerings. Everything looked amazing!!
We also got to sip on a delicious Melon Margarita made with the Goza Tequilla. Very tasty! Be sure to order one!

On to the next stop! But first a selfie!!
STK Atlanta was our next stop. I’ve been here a few times and have always been blown away by the food and cocktails. Upon entering STK, we were warmly greeted by staff and served a Margeauxrita, also made with Goza Tequilla. I really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the bartenders. They were very cool.
They had also prepared some lite bite for us to nosh on.
And as a parting gift, STK was so very nice and gave each blogger a STK flask!
Thank you STK!!

On our fourth and finally stop, we made our way to Midtown’s seafood restaurant, Lure. Here the chef prepared a lovely spread of food for us. Everything was amazing. I especially enjoyed the fried catfish. I would definitely go back for that.
Fried Louisiana Catfish with cucumber salad, crème fraiche, hot sauce, and herbs
Patty Melt with caramelized onions, smoked oyster butter
Cold-Water Oysters Trio with lemon, fresh horseradish, and cocktail sauce
Cracked Wheat & Farro Salad with avocado, preserved lemon, Georgia shrimp
