Every now and then I get a craving for an amazing burger. A couple weeks ago, I was scrolling through Instagram and caught a IG Story from Brim House advertising their “Meat Up Mondays” special. From 4 pm-6 pm, diners get the Brim Burger and Truffle Fries for only $10! Nice! Also on the special menu $5 domestic beer and an Old Fashioned for $8. If you’ve ever dined at Brim House you’d know that it’s definitely a treat. The food is always amazing.
I mentioned the deal to my parents and we decided to have a little family outing. We arrived and were warmly greeted and taken to our table. Our waiter came and took our drink orders. My dad, a first-time Brim House diner, ordered an Old Fashioned. He loved it and said, “Now that’s good!” My daughter ordered lemonade which was very tasty. Both my mother and I opted for water. I’ve been really trying to up my water intake this month.
We all ordered the burger special. After a small wait, our beautiful burgers arrived. The burger came with 2 patties, cheese, bacon, pickles, and onion rings. What a beautiful sight! And that first bite…perfection. The patties were moist but had a nice crispness on it. My dad said it reminded him of the burger his mother used to make him when he was a kid. He loved it. I’ve been trying to get him to visit the Brim House for a couple of years now and he finally did. He’s a fan and is already plotting his next visit.
You can’t leave without dessert so we took a look at the menu. Everything sounded delicious! We decided to share the Pumpkin Brûlée. We were all full but just wanted to try something a little sweet. This Pumpkin Brûlée was everything!! It was rich, creamy, light and airy. And more importantly, it was delicious. Just wow!
My family had the most amazing evening dining out at Brim House. Every staff member made us feel very welcomed. That I appreciated the most. Thank you Brim House. Till next time.
